Installation

The spoiler should first be positioned and trial-fitted on the boot lid without adhesive to confirm correct fitment, alignment and positioning.

Once you are satisfied with the position, use masking tape to mark the correct location on the boot lid.

The mounting surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free from wax, dirt, grease or other contamination before installation.

Installation requires suitable automotive-grade double-sided tape and automotive silicone adhesive.

Apply the double-sided tape to the appropriate contact areas of the spoiler, then apply automotive silicone adhesive to provide additional bonding and support.

Position the spoiler carefully using the previously marked alignment points and press it firmly into place.

Check that the spoiler is centred and positioned evenly before the adhesive begins to cure.

Masking tape can be used temporarily to hold the spoiler securely in position while the adhesive and silicone set.

Any excess silicone should be removed before it cures to maintain a clean installation.

The double-sided tape and automotive silicone must be allowed to cure according to the manufacturers’ instructions before the vehicle is driven, washed or exposed to severe weather conditions.

Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct positioning, surface preparation and secure adhesion.
