Manufactured from polypropylene (PP) plastic, the conversion replaces the original front bumper with an RS3-inspired design and is available with a choice of honeycomb front grille and side grille configurations.

The bumper skin is supplied unpainted and requires preparation and painting before final installation.

Preparation and Painting

The bumper skin is supplied unpainted and requires preparation before painting.

We strongly recommend removing or preparing the supplied surface coating as required and carrying out the appropriate body-shop preparation before applying primer, basecoat and clear coat.

The bumper should always be trial-fitted to the vehicle before painting so that fitment, mounting points and alignment can be checked first.

Professional preparation and painting by an experienced automotive body shop are recommended.

Installation

The original front bumper must be removed before the RS3-style conversion bumper can be installed.

The replacement bumper should first be trial-fitted to the vehicle so that alignment with the bonnet, headlights, wings and existing mounting points can be checked before preparation and painting are completed.

Any wiring, sensors or other components attached to the original bumper should be disconnected carefully and transferred or reconnected as required.

The supplied decoder / error-canceller modules should be installed as required as part of the conversion to help prevent associated dashboard warning lights.

Once correct alignment and clearance have been confirmed, the bumper and supplied components can be securely installed using the appropriate mounting points and suitable fixings.

Professional installation by an experienced body shop or automotive technician is strongly recommended.
