ITEM DESCRIPTION:

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Clean the area on the tailgate where the spoiler will be installed, ensuring it’s free from dirt, wax, or grease.
– Place the spoiler on the tailgate in the desired position to mark where holes will be drilled.

2. Marking Hole Positions:
– Using a marker or pencil, mark the precise spots on the tailgate where the holes for the spoiler will be drilled. Ensure accuracy by aligning the spoiler correctly.

3. Drilling Holes:
– With the spoiler removed, carefully drill holes in the marked positions on the tailgate using the appropriate drill bit size. Follow the spoiler’s instructions for recommended hole size.
– Additionally, take caution while drilling to avoid damaging the tailgate’s surface, and remember to use safety goggles during this process.

4. Attaching the Spoiler:
– Place the spoiler back onto the tailgate, aligning the drilled holes on the spoiler with the holes on the tailgate.
– Insert bolts through the holes on the spoiler and tailgate, securing them with nuts from the inside of the tailgate.

5. Tightening Bolts:
– Using a screwdriver or wrench set, tighten the bolts and nuts to secure the spoiler firmly onto the tailgate. Ensure the spoiler sits flush against the tailgate.

6. Final Checks:
– Double-check that the spoiler is securely attached and doesn’t have any play or movement. Adjust the bolts if necessary for a snug fit.
– Clean off any marks or residue from the installation process using a clean cloth or alcohol wipes.
