ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We designed and manufactured our Audi RS7 front splitter in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) to perfectly fit our RS7 style front bumper conversion.
• Please be aware that the finish on our splitter/lip is not gloss black paint. While we do our best to deliver the best finish possible, FRP parts may have minor surface imperfections and will often require preparation and painting before installation.
• If you’re happy with the finish, you can install the splitter/lip as it is — otherwise, painting is recommended for a more refined look.

INSTALLATION:

1. Gather Tools and Materials:
Collect the necessary tools, including a screwdriver, automotive silicone adhesive, a clean cloth, a drill with bits, masking tape, and the Front Splitter Lip kit.

2. Prepare the Workspace:
Choose a well-lit and spacious area to work on your vehicle. Ensure it is clean and free from debris.

3. Position the Front Splitter Lip:
Carefully position the Front Splitter Lip on the front of your X-UK 2011-2017 RS7 style front bumper conversion, ensuring proper alignment.

4. Mark Drill Points:
Use masking tape to mark the drill points on both the Front Splitter Lip and the bumper conversion. This will guide you during the installation process.

5. Pre-Drill Holes:
With the marked points as a guide, pre-drill holes on the bumper conversion.

6. Apply Automotive Silicone:
Apply a thin and even layer of automotive silicone adhesive on the backside of the Front Splitter Lip where it will come into contact with the bumper conversion.

7. Secure with Screws:
Carefully place the Front Splitter Lip back into position on the bumper conversion and secure it using screws. Tighten the screws to ensure a firm and stable attachment.

8. Wipe Off Excess Silicone:
Use a clean cloth to wipe off any excess silicone around the edges of the Front Splitter Lip for a clean and polished look.

9. Allow Silicone to Cure:
Follow the recommended curing time for the automotive silicone to ensure a strong bond between the Front Splitter Lip and the bumper conversion.

10. Final Inspection:
Conduct a final visual inspection to ensure proper alignment, a secure fit, and a professional finish.
