ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We designed and manufactured our front splitter/lip for the Audi RS5 2007-2012 OEM front bumper and our X-UK RS5 style front bumper conversion in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber reinforced plastic), ensuring it’s very durable and strong.
• Please be aware that the finish on our splitter/lip is not gloss black paint. While we do our best to deliver the best finish possible, FRP parts may have minor surface imperfections and will often require preparation and painting before installation.
• If you’re happy with the finish, you can install the splitter/lip as it is — otherwise, painting is recommended for a more refined look.

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Park the car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
– Clean the area where the front splitter lip extension will be installed, ensuring it’s free from dirt or residue.

2. Positioning:
– Place the front splitter lip extension against the front of the car to determine its ideal placement. You can use a marker or pencil to mark positions for screw holes if needed.

3. Attaching with Screws:
– Using a screwdriver or drill, insert screws through the holes in the splitter lip extension into the bumper. Start by loosely securing the screws.

4. Final Placement and Tightening:
– Once all screws are in place, ensure the splitter lip extension is aligned correctly and sits flush against the bumper.
– Proceed to tighten the screws firmly, ensuring a secure attachment of the splitter lip.

5. Clean-Up:
– Wipe off any excess debris or marks using a clean cloth or alcohol wipes to maintain a clean finish.
