ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We designed and manufactured our side skirts extension/lips for the Audi A7 S-line/S7/RS7 in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) for exceptional durability and strength.
• Finished in black FRP.
• Please be aware that the finish on our side skirts is not gloss black paint. While we do our best to deliver the best finish possible, FRP parts may have minor surface imperfections and will often require preparation and painting before installation.
• If you’re happy with the finish, you can install the side skirts as they are; otherwise, painting is recommended for a more refined look.

INSTALLATION:

1. Gather Tools and Materials:
Collect the necessary tools, including a screwdriver, automotive silicone adhesive, a clean cloth, a drill with bits, masking tape, and the Side Skirts Extension Lips kit.

2. Prepare the Workspace:
Choose a well-lit and spacious area to work on your vehicle. Ensure it is clean and free from debris.

3. Position the Side Skirts Extensions:
Carefully position the Side Skirts Extension Lips on the sides of your Audi A7, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

4. Mark Drill Points:
Use masking tape to mark the drill points on both the car’s body and the Side Skirts Extensions. This will guide you during the installation process.

5. Pre-Drill Holes:
With the marked points as a guide, pre-drill holes on the car’s body.

6. Apply Automotive Silicone:
Apply a thin and even layer of automotive silicone adhesive on the backside of the Side Skirts Extensions where it will come into contact with the car’s body.

7. Secure with Screws:
Carefully place the Side Skirts Extensions back into position and secure them using screws. Tighten the screws to ensure a firm and stable attachment.

8. Wipe Off Excess Silicone:
Use a clean cloth to wipe off any excess silicone around the edges of the Side Skirts Extensions for a clean and polished look.

9. Allow Silicone to Cure:
Follow the recommended curing time for the automotive silicone to ensure a strong bond between the Side Skirts Extensions and the car’s body.

10. Final Inspection:
Conduct a final inspection to ensure proper alignment, a secure fit, and a professional finish.
