Designed and manufactured by X-UK from fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP), this front splitter is shaped to fit the original Audi A3 S line, S3 and RS3 8P front bumpers, as well as the compatible X-UK RS3-style front bumper conversion.

The splitter is supplied with a black FRP surface finish. It is not painted gloss black and, as with FRP body parts, minor surface imperfections may be present. Preparation and painting are recommended if you require a smooth, refined painted finish.

FRP Finish Information

FRP body parts are manufactured differently from injection-moulded plastic parts and may display minor surface imperfections from the manufacturing process.

The splitter is supplied with a black FRP finish rather than a painted gloss black finish.

If you are happy with the supplied appearance, the splitter can be installed as it is. For the best cosmetic finish, preparation, surface finishing and professional painting are recommended before installation.

We recommend trial-fitting all FRP parts before any preparation or painting work is carried out.

Installation

The splitter should first be positioned and trial-fitted against the lower front bumper to confirm alignment before permanent installation.

Once positioned correctly, the splitter can be secured to the lower bumper using suitable automotive fixings. Automotive-grade adhesive or sealant may also be used at appropriate contact points where required.

Care should be taken not to overtighten fixings, as excessive force may damage the FRP splitter or the bumper.

Because FRP components may require minor preparation and adjustment during installation, professional fitting by an experienced body shop or automotive technician is strongly recommended.
