ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our BMW 5 Series 2017-2019 G30 M-Performance style side skirts extensions are manufactured from ABS plastic.
• Comes with a matte black plastic finish or Gloss black finish.

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare Your Vehicle: Ensure your BMW is on a level surface, and you have enough working space around it.

2. Test-Fit Extensions: Place the side skirt extensions along the underside of your vehicle to ensure a proper fit. Make any necessary adjustments or trims if required.

3. Mark Mounting Points: Use a measuring tape to mark the positions where the extensions will be attached. Typically, you’ll find existing mounting points or channels on the underside of your vehicle.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone: Apply a thin, even layer of automotive silicone on the back of the side skirt extensions where they will contact the vehicle’s body. This will help create a secure and weatherproof seal.

5. Attach Extensions: Carefully align the extensions with the marked mounting points, then gently press them against the vehicle’s body, ensuring they are level and centered.

6. Secure with Screws: To reinforce the attachment, use screws to secure the extensions in place. Drill small pilot holes at the marked mounting points and then insert screws. Make sure not to overtighten to prevent damage to the extensions or your vehicle.

7. Check Alignment: Double-check the alignment and positioning of the extensions. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure they are level and symmetrical on both sides of the vehicle.

8. Clamps (Optional): If available, use clamps to hold the extensions in place while the silicone cures. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions regarding curing times.

9. Clean Excess Silicone: Carefully wipe away any excess silicone that may have oozed out from the edges of the extensions.

10. Final Inspection: Allow the silicone to fully cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions. Once cured, inspect the installation for any loose points or alignment issues.
